Scientist - Electrochemistry

Job Description:
Strategic Accountability / Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate assigned team members (people management skills).
- Perform the design, development, evaluation, and analysis and develop new materials, processes and testing methodologies for Electrolyser components.
- Lead problem solving activities.
- Closely teamwork with interdisciplinary cross-country engineers and scientists.
- Support relevant activities in lab and pilot scale operations.

Operational Accountability / Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of experiments to meet Electrolyser product performance requirements.
- Perform lab and pilot scale experiments, analyse performance, troubleshoot and solve.
- Facilitate technology transfer for scaling up component production using high-volume processes
- Support the characterization of materials using advanced techniques, analyse and troubleshoot.
- Lead the establishment of best practices and protocols for component research, development, and deployment (RD&D)
- Prepare and maintain chemical inventory, safety procedures and documentation.
