SAP Security Analyst

This position is responsible for adhering to JCI Global SAP implementation template and gaining alignment from the business leadership on the key security control design points. Should be familiar with security IT control key concepts (Design, Governance, and Segregation of Duty (SOD)), and use of GRC tools to enforce them. Also, senior analyst will determine what constitutes incompatible security access and maintain/ enforce that access with SOD rules. The resource will also be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity to leverage tools such as GRC, data analytics to lower sustainment costs and enhance risk protection.

Requires strong team player qualities and a strong self-starter who can deliver consistently at a high-quality level. Strong communications and administrative skills are a must.

Principal Duties:

- Act as a project team lead on small to large-sized projects assists in the definition of SAP Security requirements, technical considerations, and deployment activities.
- Participate in SAP Security analysis, design, and implementation efforts.
- Document SAP Security design and administration processes, create operational guides, and monitor existing operational guides for consistency and completeness.
- Work closely with both SAP technical and functional teams to ensure the success of the overall SAP solution.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for roles, providing troubleshooting and problem resolution and provide active user support
- May coach and mentor less experienced administrators on security best practices.

**Sets and communicates objectives, priorities, timelines, and desired outcomes**
- Provide project completion timeline estimates and status updates for SAP Security tasks.
- Communicate security design requirements and work together with value stream leads to assure the implementation of security solutions
- Keep team and sub-team leads informed of progress and promptly report any delays or significant issues
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Understand and utilize project documentation tools and systems in compliance with project and sustain standards

**Management of SAP security IT control standards and governance, providing direction and technical assistance to IT teams, control teams and key business users**
- Facilitating role change activities including providing assistance/ guidance to functional/ technical teams
- Define and maintain SAP security IT control standards and governance
- Gain alignment from business leadership on security policies, strategies, and key design decisions, making changes to the design and related documentation, and ensuring design requirements were actioned correctly
- Monitor the security design for Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance (SOX), including Segregation of Duties (SOD) and business/ technical sensitive transactions
- Evaluate business risks associated with security design and make design decisions that address those risks
- Run quality assurance activities of the overall design and develop/ execute activities to manage remediation accordingly
- Provide recommendations on ways to simplify/ streamline existing processes and controls to gain productivity

**Manages execution of Security Governance reporting approach and adoption, including risk assessment processes, continuous monitoring, training, and reporting**
- Integrate security governance within overall control environment, lead change and sustain activities with the impacted parties

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years exp. in SAP controls or security
- Knowledge of & experience in SAP security for S4 HANA, Fiori, ECC, BW, GRC, PI, Portal, NWBC, Solman
- Experience implementing and supporting audit controls and monitoring solution in GRC AC pertaining to SoD management, user provisioning, business role management, super user access, and access controls.
- Experience in SAP security process(es) definition, improvement, and implementation
- Working with process owners and identifying information technology solutions that enable business process improvements
- Understanding of QA and SDLC methodologies
- Written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.
