CNC Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up CNC machines according to specifications provided for each project.
- Load wood materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Input program codes and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting, shaping, and carving of wood.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Regularly inspect finished pieces to verify their conformance to design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain the CNC machine's cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to understand project requirements and translate them into machine instructions.
- Make necessary adjustments to programs and settings to achieve desired results and make continuous improvements.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working with the CNC machinery.
- Record production data and maintain accurate records of completed work.
- Train and mentor junior operators as needed.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in woodworking or CNC operation is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Wood CNC Operator or similar role in a woodworking environment.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, preferably in a woodshop setting.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and precision in executing tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine-related issues.
- Physical dexterity and stamina to load and unload materials and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of wood properties, cuts, and joinery techniques.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
