Job Title: Agriculture Researcher internship

Job Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra

Job Summary:
The Agriculture Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the Doordarshak ( Our

Specialist should have a strong knowledge of agriculture and pests and diseases, or should be willing to learn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitor the Doordarshak pilot program on the field, identifying pests and diseases.
- Provide training to farmers on how to use the Doordarshak system and how to identify and control pests and diseases.
- Conduct regular visits to farms to monitor the progress of the pilot program and to provide support to farmers.
- Maintain records of the pilot program, including data on pests and diseases, crop yields, and farmer satisfaction.
- Work with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving the effectiveness of the Doordarshak system.
- Conduct field visits to potential and existing customers to promote our products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and trials to educate customers about the features and benefits of our offerings.
- Assist with developing and implementing marketing campaigns to generate leads and brand awareness.
- Collect and analyze customer data to identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare marketing materials, such as brochures and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree ( B.Sc / M.Sc ) in agriculture or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in agriculture or pest management.
- Strong knowledge of pests and diseases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong research skills and ability to understand the causes of diseases.
- Interest in research and development.

Working Conditions:

- The Agriculture Researcher intern will work in a field setting, and will be exposed to the elements.
- The work hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday half day and Sunday full working day.
