As an IB Science teacher, your job description (JD) would typically include the following responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development**: Designing and implementing a curriculum that aligns with IB standards and objectives, including planning lessons, creating assessments, and selecting instructional materials.
- **Assessment**: Designing and administering assessments (e.g., exams, projects, presentations) to evaluate student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- **Differentiation**: Modifying instructional strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs or language barriers.
- **Professional Development**: Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in IB Science education and enhance teaching skills.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development, participating in staff meetings and school events.
- **Classroom Management**: Establishing and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, managing student behavior effectively.
- **Parent Communication**: Communicating regularly with parents about student progress, academic performance, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
- **IB Program Requirements**: Ensuring compliance with IB program requirements, including the completion of internal assessments and the administration of external exams.
- **Student Support**: Providing academic support and guidance to students, offering extra help outside of class as needed.
- **Technology Integration**: Integrating technology into teaching practices to enhance student learning and engagement.
- **Professional Ethics**: Adhering to professional and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the principles of the IB Learner Profile.

**Salary**: ₹300.00 - ₹400.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 9 per week
