**Brief description of the business**:
Our technology teams are responsible for the bank's complete information technology infrastructure. They develop and maintain programs that are required for the bank's business. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for Software Engineers who can design, develop and implement innovative solutions to achieve our goal.

The position is located in **Corporate Bank - Payments Technology**

As a Product Owner, you will be accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team to meet business needs. The role requires you to deliver effective Product Backlog management, which includes:

- Developing and explicitly communicating the Product Goal;
- Creating and clearly communicating Product Backlog items;
- Ordering Product Backlog items; and,
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood.

Further, this PO role will be part of the **payments **scrum **team comprising of engineers, functional analysts and test specialists. The team is responsible for developing and implementing micro-services and solutions around the Real-time Engine (RTE) and Payments Engine (PE) products for the SEPA instant payments implementations.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- The role requires hands on experience in Payments business and working with Agile teams
- Aligned to the Agile SAFE Product owner definition, the responsibilities include:

- Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.
- The PO has a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done.
- This is a critical role, typically translating into a full-time job, requiring one PO to support each Agile team (or, at most, two teams).
- This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Managing the product backlog (Capacity estimation and planning, L0 and L1 estimation of EPIC/Story level).
- Prioritizing needs (Clear categorization of an MVP and BoW definition/priority).
- Overseeing development stages.
- Anticipating client needs.
- An expert in flow of value of products through multiple systems.
- Evaluating product progress at each iteration.
- Expert in defining end to end business flow for payments
- for example High value and cross border payments.
- Go-to expert in a business flow for example in a P1 production issue or in major change initiative they will be lead for Investigation, analysis and requirements.

**Your skills and experience**:
**Must have skills**:

- Expert level understanding of Payments area eg in Payments correspondent banking and domestic/cross border payment messaging (including but not limited to SWIFT MT/pacs/camt, SEPA, Faster Payments).
- Knowledge of ISO20022 financial service messages.
- Experience of Agile software delivery methodology and tools/skills like specification by example and writing acceptance criteria.
- Experience leading virtual teams with a need to influence and direct people without direct line management responsibility.
- Experience organizing and leading workshops focused on requirements gathering, analysis and refinement.
