**Location: Bangalore**
- CFD meshing refers to the process of dividing a computational domain into small, geometrically simple sub-domains called "elements" or "cells" in order to solve fluid flow and heat transfer problems numerically using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques.

Meshing is a critical step in CFD simulation as it directly affects the accuracy and efficiency of the simulation results. The quality of the mesh, including factors such as cell size, shape, and distribution, can significantly impact the accuracy and convergence of the numerical solution.

Here's a basic breakdown of the steps involved in CFD meshing:

- **Geometry Preparation**: This involves importing or creating the geometry of the system to be analyzed. This could be done using CAD software, or within the CFD software itself.
- **Mesh Generation**: The geometry is then divided into small computational elements or cells. There are different types of meshes, including structured (with well-defined connectivity between neighboring cells) and unstructured (with irregular cell shapes and sizes).
- **Mesh Quality Checking and Improvement**: Once the mesh is generated, it's essential to check its quality. This involves ensuring that the cells are of appropriate size, shape, and distribution, and that there are no poorly shaped or highly skewed elements. Mesh improvement techniques may be applied to enhance mesh quality if necessary.
- **Boundary Conditions and Solver Setup**: After generating a suitable mesh, boundary conditions (such as inlet velocities, pressures, temperatures, etc.) are applied to define the problem. Additionally, solver settings are specified, including turbulence models, numerical schemes, convergence criteria, etc.
- **Solution and Post-Processing**: The CFD solver is then used to solve the governing equations (e.g., Navier-Stokes equations) within the computational domain. Post-processing involves analyzing and visualizing the results, which may include velocity profiles, pressure distributions, temperature contours, etc.
