**Overview**:We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatry Social Worker & Procedure Counsellor to join our dedicated team. As an experienced PSW-Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to patients with psychiatric illnesses and their family members, while also assisting in the coordination of care and procedures within the centre.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients with psychiatric illnesses and their family members, fostering a relationship based on empathy, trust, and understanding.
- Conduct basic history taking and work-up of patients coming for treatment and procedures, gathering relevant information and entering details accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
- Assist in prepping patients for evaluation by the psychiatrist, ensuring they are adequatelyprepared and informed about the evaluation process.
- Act as a bridge between the clinical team, facilitating communication and coordination betweenpsychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Quickly learn and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote mental health services offered by the centre, including explaining psychiatry procedures to patients and their families.
- Skilfully convince patients and family members to undergo recommended procedures,addressing any concerns or questions they may have and obtaining consent as necessary.
- Take responsibility for the entry and documentation of consent forms, ensuring compliance withlegal and ethical standards.
- Monitor psychiatry procedures when in progress, ensuring patient safety and comfortthroughout the process.
- Participate in outreach activities and screen patients during mental health camps conducted by Thriving Minds
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups between psychiatrists and therapists, ensuring continuity of care and timely access to services.
- Address patient queries and grievances, as well as concerns raised by family members, promptly and effectively through phone calls and messages.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counselling Psychology/ Psychiatry Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in mental health or psychiatry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establishtrust with patients and their families.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software for documentation and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of basic psychiatry procedures and evaluation scales.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Empathetic and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle patient queries and grievances effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands and priorities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

**Job Timings**:9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday (Sunday - weekly off)
**Minimum Experience**:2 years in a hospital/clinical setting.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
