**Experience in ANY of the following areas**:
- Experience in ship’s Structural design/ hull equipment/systems & outfitting design/ HVAC Design.
- Experience of working on naval ship design is preferable.
- Good design understanding of Class and Naval requirements for ships’ aviation, seamanship systems & deck machinery/equipment.
- Undertaking basic structural strength calculations for the global / local structures of the ship.
- Undertaking basic/ detailed outfit design/ HVAC design of ships
- Experience of working in shipyard design/planning/production/ QC departments
- Experience in FEM analysis (preferably ship structures).
- Project Design management
- Lead design teams
- Plan design schedule and execution plan to meet the given deadlines
- Coordinating group design activities and periodic reviews, giving feedback to senior management and following up on action points
- Coordination with other departments
- Client and Vendor coordination

**Qualification**:

- BE / B. Tech / equivalent qualification from reputed institutes (Higher qualification is an added advantage)

**Specialization**:

- Naval architecture / Ocean engineering / Mechanical / Marine Engineering / Ship building / Ship construction / Equivalent qualification
- Electrical / Electronics / Tele communication/ Instrumentation
- Experience in ship design / construction related software is an added advantage
