**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Market Research and Analysis**:

- Conduct research on shipping markets, including trends in charter rates, vessel availability, and market demands.
- Compile and analyze data on shipping routes, cargo types, and pricing fluctuations to support broking decisions.
- Monitor global economic trends and their impact on the shipping industry.
- **Client Interaction and Support**:

- Assist in maintaining relationships with clients, shipowners, and charterers by managing inquiries and providing timely information.
- Support the ship broking team in communicating market insights, vessel specifications, and freight rate structures to clients.
- Attend client meetings to observe broking processes and learn client service skills.
- **Administrative Assistance**:

- Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and client information in internal systems.
- Prepare and update daily reports, briefs, and data sheets for the team.
- **Learning and Development**:

- Gain hands-on experience in various types of chartering, including spot, time, and voyage charters.
- Participate in training sessions to learn about vessel types, cargo classifications, and operational aspects of shipping.
- Observe senior brokers during negotiations to gain insight into deal-making and relationship management.
- **Networking and Relationship Building**:

- Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to develop professional contacts and deepen industry knowledge.
- Network with industry professionals and establish a foundation for building long-term client relationships.
- Assist in managing and maintaining existing client relationships.

**Key Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- No prior experience required, though experience in shipping, logistics, or customer service is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, competitive environments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
