About you and this role - What you would do in this role

In this role, you will ensure accounting activity recorded within the Company’s records and books are accurate and complete. You will be responsible for customer and intercompany invoicing to resolve the issue in creation, validation and distribution of invoices and communicating functional activity and reporting to process specialist. You’ll work as part of a team at Dow, and we have many opportunities to address challenging to streamline and automate the process.

Responsibilities - Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role.
- Review blocked creation and validation cases and communicate with appropriate stakeholders CSR, Pricing team, Tax team and Accounting to review and resolve issues.
- Fix the Invoice discrepancies in accordance with business rules in SAP.
- Timely action on the request of Invoice Output checking, Text update, Reprint of invoices and Distribution of Invoices.

Qualifications - Required education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves).
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum 4 years working experience in accounting, with SAP knowledge.
- 1 years of relevant operations experience in a chemical or manufacturing company

Preferred Skills - An expanded list of qualifications that are “nice to have”, but not essential.
- Team player with proactive communication style
- Should be aware about Discount, GST, credit and debit notes, Rebate accruals impact on Invoicing. Working knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP and Accounting policies
