Proposal Writer

Position:Proposal Writer
- Location:Remote or based in one of SPARK’s countries of operation
- Application Deadline:31st March 2024
- Duration:One year contract with possibility of renewal
- Starting Date:asap

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Drafting concept notes, proposals, and other communication material for new funding opportunities (e.g. presentations, concept notes, proposals, reports, expert profiles)
- Support analysis and preparation of new funding opportunities
- Provide ad-hoc writing, proofreading, and editing support to teams on donor communications
- Provide general support to business development efforts (e.g. advising consultants on technical assistance programs, manage an external event list)

**Requirements and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline with significant writing responsibilities
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent oral and written language skills in English required
- Demonstrated interest in economic development, fragility and post-conflict, or other relevant areas
