The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, particularly steel, for our manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of the steel industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers. The Purchase Executive will ensure that all materials are sourced at the best possible prices, without compromising on quality, to meet production schedules and support the company's growth objectives.

Roles & Responsibility
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Management**:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers of steel and other raw materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure continuous supply at competitive prices.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews.
- **Procurement Strategy**:

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for steel and related materials.
- Ensure that procurement processes are aligned with company objectives and production requirements.
- Analyze market trends to forecast material prices and secure the best possible deals.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Coordinate with the production and inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders in a timely manner to avoid production delays.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or production timelines.
- **Negotiation & Contract Management**:

- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Ensure all purchase orders and contracts are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Manage contract renewals and amendments as required.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet the required specifications and standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to material quality with suppliers.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance to the management team.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.

Qualification
- B.E/BTECH In Technical discipline Or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of the steel market and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Desired Skills**:

- Knowledge of CHQ wire production processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
