Oversee toll collection operations:
Ensure accurate and efficient collection of tolls from all vehicles.
Monitor toll booth activity and address any issues that may arise.
Reconcile cash and electronic transactions daily.
Manage cash handling procedures and ensure adherence to security protocols.
Supervise toll collectors:
Recruit, train, and schedule toll collectors.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve performance.
Motivate and maintain a positive working environment for the team.
Address any disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.
Maintain traffic flow:
Monitor traffic patterns and adjust staffing levels as needed.
Implement procedures to minimize congestion and maintain efficient traffic flow.
Respond to traffic incidents and accidents in a timely and professional manner.
Customer service:
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide information and assistance to customers regarding fares, payment options, and directions.
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Reporting and administration:
Prepare accurate and timely reports on toll collection, traffic volume, and other relevant data.
Maintain records and documentation as required.
Assist with budgeting and cost-control measures.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in basic computer skills.
Understanding of cash handling procedures and security protocols is a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with shift work required.
The working environment can be fast-paced and demanding.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions may be required.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
