Legal Officer

1. Conducting research on various legal issues relevant to the organization's operations, including statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents.
2. Preparing and drafting legal documents such as contracts, agreements, memoranda, policies, and other legal correspondence.
3. Reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and to protect the organization's interests.
4. Offering legal advice and guidance to management and other departments within the organization on a wide range of legal matters, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
5. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and developing compliance policies and procedures as necessary.
6. Managing litigation and legal disputes involving the organization, which may include working with external counsel, conducting legal research, and preparing legal documents for court proceedings.
7. Act as company representative/ authority holder, in case of any legal matter to present on behalf of company in police station and appearing on court cases and taking follow up with legal bodies.
8. Participating in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, partners, and other parties, and advising on legal implications and risks associated with proposed agreements.
9. Identifying legal risks and potential liabilities facing the organization and developing strategies to mitigate or manage those risks effectively.
10. Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization's operations and advocating for the organization's interests with government agencies and policymakers when necessary.
11. Ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements and advising on matters related to board governance and shareholder relations.
12. Developing and implementing ethics and compliance programs to promote a culture of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization.
13. Conducting legal due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions to assess legal risks and liabilities.
Qualification: A bachelor's degree in law or any equivalent degree.
Skill : Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for legal officers to draft legal documents, communicate complex legal concepts clearly, and interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
