**Role & Designation**:
**Junior Merchandiser for Leather Goods - handbags and wallets (Ref : Merch/Jr/002)**Industry : Fashion/Leather Goods Location : Kolkata

**Desired profile** Qualifications : Diploma from FDDI/NIFT/NIFD or equivalent Experience : 1 - 3 years

Language : English, Hindi, Bengali

**Other skills**: Familiarity with Leather Industry and Fashion Trends Interest in market dynamics along with business sense Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, power Point etc

Overall Purpose of the Role:

- Merchandising of Leather goods
- BOM, Costing, Sample development, Production tracking and follow up
- Handle buyers account independently
- Medium of education : English must
- Interpret customer design sheets to sample maker and ensure compliance
- He/ She would need to follow-up with Procurement, Logistics and Production department for timely shipments, as per the schedule. He/ She would be expected to co-ordinate between the customer and the Production planning department on the order status.
- Should do research on International Fashion Trends and feed the information to the buyer in a presentable format
- Should be responsible to create a library of materials (leather, hardware, lining etc.) for future buyer reference and use
- Keep a tab on account receivable from customers and do timely follow-ups
- Should be familiar with computer system/software

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
