Hotel Income Auditor

We are looking to hire Hotel Income Auditor for Multi property including Hilton, IHG ,Marriot and Choice Brand. The Income Auditor position is responsible for the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the Multi property Reporting.
**MUST HAVE A HOTEL INCOME AUDITOR EXPERIENCE**
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
- Follows audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identifies the causes of out-of-balance situations in a timely manner, produces various reports for management and takes initiative to accurate errors to prevent reoccurrence.
- Balance and verify all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and prepare the system for next day operations.
- Ensures that all charges have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced with all supporting documentation.
- Verify charges and stay details for all in-house accounts.
- Complete shift closing, Reconcile cash/check and Credit Card payments. Balance the cash drawer log and receipts.
- Post Food and Beverage receipts from External systems to PMS.
- Verify Credit card batch settlements Reports with PMS Systems.
- Reconciles all charges to the general ledger. Prepares back-up files and closes out shift and day on reservation system, including preparing system for next day of business.
- Generates housekeeping reports and prints folios departures.
- Calculates account balance at month-end and submits to accounting.
- Processes reservation advance deposits from receipt of reservation information to depositing and logging all monies.
- Reports any unresolved problems with owners/Management.
- Complete "bucket checks" to ensure all accounts are current and comply with standards established by the Hotel Management.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Management Reports and file in Dropbox.
- Microsoft Excel experience is a big plus. Understanding of Hotel Billings is plus.
