Job Description Summary

This position oversees our oral solid dosage (OSD). After 1 year will be transferred to injectable production lines while continue to be managing warehousing operations.
Will lead OSD teams, ensuring seamless cross functional collaboration with Tech. transfer/R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Job Description
- Oversee the entire production process of OSD for initial 1 year & later injectables, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and in compliance with GMP standards.
- Production planning and execution - Responsible for preparing production plan in coordination with Supply chain department and execution thereof with effective planning and utilization of men, materials and machineries for quality linked productivity
- Validation activities - Monitoring of Scale up/Engineering batches and Exhibit batches for various products and to ensure that appropriate Validations are done.
- Documentation - Review documents like Standard operating procedures (SOP), Batch manufacturing record (BMR), Protocols and compliance reports. Responsible for preparation of accurate and timely reports of various production activities showing performance and shortcomings against planned parameters (monthly presentation, work in progress statement, yield report, monthly planning, expense budget etc.)
- Managing warehouse inventory system, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, consumable and other supplies.
- Will lead a team of production supervisors and staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- To develop and implement production schedules and workflows that maximize productivity while minimizing downtime and waste.
- To ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- We expect you to collaborate closely with Quality and Tech transfer teams to address any product quality issues promptly and effectively, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- You will be responsible for budget planning and cost control within the production and warehouse departments, aiming for cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- We require you to drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing performance data, identifying areas for enhancement, and spearheading projects to optimize operational efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end production processes for OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) products, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
- We require you to manage warehouse operations effectively, including inventory control, storage conditions, and logistics coordination.
- You must develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production efficiency and reducing waste.
- To collaborate closely with Quality Assurance teams and maintain product quality and address any deviations or non-conformities promptly.
- Should prepare and manage budgets for production and warehousing activities, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Responsible for ensuring all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to within the production and warehouse environments.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in OSD and injectable manufacturing technologies, integrating relevant innovations into our processes.
