**Menu Planning**: Collaborate with nutritionists and dieticians to plan menus that meet the dietary needs and restrictions of patients and staff. This includes considering special diets like diabetic, low sodium, gluten-free, etc.
- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and specific dietary requirements. Ensure that meals are nutritious, balanced, and appealing.
- **Food Safety and Hygiene**: Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations to prevent contamination and ensure safe food handling practices. This is crucial in a hospital setting to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- **Stock Management**: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, ensuring that necessary items are always available for meal preparation.
- **Kitchen Management**: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including scheduling, supervising kitchen staff, and assigning tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Address any issues promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- **Budget Management**: Assist in managing the budget for food costs and kitchen supplies, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising on quality or nutrition.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by addressing their dietary needs and preferences courteously and professionally.
- **Adaptability**: Be flexible and able to adjust meal plans and preparation methods as per changes in patient requirements or unexpected events (e.g., dietary emergencies).
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on culinary trends, nutrition research, and healthcare dietary guidelines to continuously improve menu offerings and cooking techniques.

Pay: ₹8,193.00 - ₹24,839.87 per month
