**About this opportunity.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers, system administrators, and developers to understand infrastructure requirements and automation needs.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Puppet code using Ruby DSL (Domain-Specific Language) and Puppet's declarative language.
- Manage Puppet environments, including version control, code deployment, and configuration management best practices.
- Integrate Puppet with other tools and systems, such as version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and monitoring/logging solutions.
- Implement infrastructure as code principles to define and manage infrastructure resources using Puppet code.
- Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Puppet code quality and standards.
- Stay updated on Puppet best practices, new features, and industry trends related to configuration management and automation.
- Document Puppet configurations, workflows, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing and training.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven 10+ years of experience as a Puppet Ruby Developer or Puppet Engineer in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Puppet architecture, components, and workflow, including Puppet Server, PuppetDB, and Puppet agent/master communication.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git for managing Puppet code repositories.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
