**Org. Setting and Reporting**
- The position is located within the Property Management Section of the Liquidation Entity of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), in Gao. The incumbent will report to a Senior Officer and/or the Chief of Unit/Section. The main function of the Property Disposal Officer is to plan, organize, and physically dispose of UN-owned non-expendable and expendable property as well as hazardous waste produced by the Liquidation Entity mission, in cooperation with the Self-Accounting Units, Property Survey Unit, Procurement Section, Finance Section, and Property Control and Inventory Unit, in a proper environmental manner and in compliance with national policies, and laws regarding exportation of scrap, in case of international contractors involvement.
