About Educate Girls:
- Established in 2007, Educate Girls’ is a non-profit that focusses on mobilizing communities for
girls’ education in India’s rural and educationally backward areas. Educate Girls’ scalable,
replicable and sustainable program model resides on top of India’s ‘Right to Education Act’.
- From a 500-schools pilot in 2007, Educate Girls has metamorphosed into a 24,000+ schools, over
18,000 villages across more than 33 districts in the states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar
Pradesh & Bihar.
- Since inception, Educate Girls has enrolled 1.4+ million Out-of-school girls (OOSG); 1.9+ million
children have benefitted from the remedial learning curriculum. Over 18.6 million total
beneficiaries have been impacted from Educate Girls’ program model.
Pragati: A Second Chance Program
India’s Right to Education Act covers children between 5-14 years of age. Girls aged 15 and above
become permanently at risk of never completing their secondary education. This limits their
potential for growth, aspiration & independence since 10th-grade certification is critical for entrylevel
jobs, formal loans and many life chances. Without 10th grade credential, girls are condemned to
a life of limited or no opportunities.
The objective of Pragati is to create an ecosystem to enable 10th grade credentialing and access to
better life chances for adolescent girls and women who have dropped out of the formal schoolsystem.
Pragati is a flexible approach to secondary education through the government open school system to
unlock clear benefits for out-of-school adolescent girls and young women.
Pragati aims to:
- Help them gain credentials by passing the 10th
- grade exam.

- Having secured a 10th-grade pass, connect them to life chances like further education,
entrepreneurship, skilling, training and jobs.

Role Overview:
in program and operation of Pragati program. The position is based out of Patna but will require regular
travel to Educate Girls working area. We are seeking someone with a passion for girls' education,
communities, Training, traveling and handling field call ‘s for solutions. Open to work in open school
board.

Areas of Responsibility
A] Planning and Implementation:
- Work with the Program manager in developing the annual plan of implementing partner.
- Track and implement the training at all operational districts/locations.
- Manage filed calls for handholding of challenges. Attend call for VFS (Virtual filed support) give
solution
- Monitor program implementation progress and give input where necessary based on quality
improvement.
- Take lead in planning, managing & facilitating the training events.
B] Training, Advocacy and Capacity Building:
- Conduct field level visits to monitor program quality.
- Ensure that monthly progress report, quarterly progress report is prepared and shared in a timely
manner with reporting managers.
- Ensure the implementation of the training feedback system for further improvement of content
and training mechanism.
- Conduct Training Visit according to the training plan and provide qualitative input.
- Coordinate with Admin team for smooth implementation of the trainings.
- Camp visit for execution handhold support.
C] Documentation and Information Management:
- Work in collaboration with other departments.
- Maintain field call details.
- Ensure Training and quality related records and data management.

- Document all the training requirements, and maintain up-to-date trackers for training contents
developed, training conducted, participants trained, training hours completed etc.
Specific Job Skills:
- Skills to facilitate Training programs and manage Training.
- Ability to multitask and perform under stress situation.
- Work effectively and inclusively with a range of people both within and outside of the org
- Excellent communication skills - oral & written with the ability to deliver trainings and
presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and meet strict
deadlines.
- Commitment to working through systems of community participation.
Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations
1. Any graduate / post graduate having 2-4 years of experience in training facilitation and
implementation in Education Field.
2. Fluency in Hindi and proficiency in English, Bhojpuri/Magahi/Maithili preferred.
3. Expert in using MS Office, Gmail and other standard Internet Resources
