Hydrogen PLC Progammer

Location: Naroda, GJ, IN, 382330- Req ID: 6566As Gas Handling Business unit continues to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Hydrogen Electrical Design Engineer/Senior Design Engineer to support its exciting growing business unit.

Your main responsibility will be for the programming of control solutions associated to the gas, hydraulic and process systems including other manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, logical thinker who enjoys working with different systems in combination with computers. Good communication and interpersonal skills are very important, as the role will involve interaction with multidiscipline teams. Fault finding skills and familiarity with general commissioning activities are advantageous to this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce flow diagrams and write robust programs using automation software (Siemens TIA primarily, others beneficial)
- Expertise in PLC programming with Siemens PLC (such as Ladder Logic, ST, SFC, Function Block)
- Prepare documentation for the program’s intended use as well as any safety related instructions
- Assist with technical files and data books including ATEX/IECEx technical files and customer specific quality documentation
- Determine test criteria, test the new program for reliability and safety with automation equipment
- You are also responsible for testing programs and equipment developed by third parties
- Compile test data and check specifications are met
- The ability to support the installation of programs and rectification of any issues remotely or on site

Key Competencies:

- Must have an appropriated engineering related degree
- Min. 3 years’ experience for mechanical design engineering
- Siemens programming experience is essential
- Must have strong understanding of the electrical software principles
- Experience in the execution of detailed DFMEA and the use of problem solving tolls (5 why, fish bone, 8D etc.)
- Project management awareness
