Laundry Worker

The Laundry Man is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and other têxtiles according to established standards. They ensure that all laundry items are cleaned thoroughly and returned to customers in a timely manner. The Laundry Man must maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Laundry Operations**:

- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and washing instructions.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment effectively.
- Use appropriate detergents and additives to remove stains and odors from fabrics.
- Follow proper procedures for washing, drying, and folding different types of clothing and têxtiles.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect laundry items for stains, damages, or defects before and after cleaning.
- Ensure that all garments are properly washed, dried, and ironed to meet quality standards.
- Handle delicate fabrics and special care items with extra attention and care.
- **Customer Service**:

- Assist customers with drop-off and pick-up of laundry items.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests courteously and professionally.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Maintenance and Cleaning**:

- Clean and maintain laundry equipment and facilities on a regular basis.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- **Safety and Hygiene**:

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals or operating machinery.
- Adhere to hygiene standards and sanitary practices to prevent contamination of laundry items.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in laundry operations or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
