**Reports To: Medical officer and Head Operations**

**Job Summary**: The Registered Nurse in the Rehabilitation Hospital is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients’ recovery, promote their physical well-being, and enhance their quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and rehabilitation techniques.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and standards of care.
- Prepare and review care reports and discharge summaries.
- **Education and Training**:

- Provide training and support to new nursing staff and nursing students.
- Stay updated with the latest nursing practices and rehabilitation techniques.
- **Patient Advocacy**:

- Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients.

**Qualifications**:

- GNM or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license to practice in Tamilnadu
- Minimum 2-4 years of nursing experience, preferably in rehabilitation or CCU/ICU/ER.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position with rotational shifts -day ,afternoon and night shifts.
- Based in Chennai and nearby Mogapair area is preferrable.

**Application Process**:
Pay: ₹20,086.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
