Job Description: Solution Architect (Telecom Company)

Company Overview:

We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet our clients' business requirements, focusing on IoT and network architecture.

**Responsibilities**:
1> Solution Design and Architecture:

- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive solution architectures, considering IoT and network components, that address the clients' needs.
- Create detailed technical design documents, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.
- Ensure that solution designs adhere to industry best practices, scalability, security, and performance standards.

2> IoT Expertise:

- Leverage your expertise in IoT technologies, protocols, and platforms to design and implement IoT solutions that integrate with the existing telecom infrastructure.
- Assess IoT devices, sensors, and connectivity options to identify optimal solutions for specific use cases and customer requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IoT to provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients.

3> Network Architecture:

- Design and optimize telecom network architectures, considering factors such as capacity, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with network engineers to define network requirements, protocols, and configurations.
- Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing network infrastructure and operations.

4> Pre-sales Support:

- Work closely with the sales team to support the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise, participating in client meetings, and delivering presentations.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
- Conduct solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of proposed solutions.

5> Project Leadership:

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams during the solution implementation phase.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure successful project completion.

**Required Skills**:

- Unix System: Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems, including command-line tools, shell scripting, and system administration.
- Solution Architecture: Strong understanding of solution design principles and the ability to create comprehensive architectures that meet business requirements.
- Business Analytics: Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools to extract insights from large datasets and drive informed decision-making.
- Strategic Telecom Network Planning: Experience in planning and designing telecom networks, considering factors such as coverage, capacity, and future scalability.
- Microservices: Familiarity with microservices architecture and the ability to design and implement solutions using modular and scalable microservices.
- IoT: Expertise in IoT technologies, protocols, and platforms, and the ability to integrate IoT devices into telecom infrastructure for innovative solutions.
- Network Architecture: Strong understanding of network architecture principles, protocols, and components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Customer Analysis: Ability to analyze customer needs and preferences, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
- In-depth knowledge of IoT technologies, protocols, and platforms.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with telecom service provider systems and processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹539,564.76 - ₹1,598,922.53 per year
