You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving sales of agricultural inputs and related bio/chemical products. Your responsibilities will include managing a small team, establishing and nurturing farmer relationships, understanding local agricultural practices and farmers concerns, and the ability

to build strong relationships with both farmers and local stakeholders. You have to create Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) for demand generation and increased sales.
- Manage and lead a small team of 2-3 sales personnel, providing guidance, training, and performanceevaluation.
- Utilize expert knowledge of Agri inputs and related bio/chemical Agri products to drive sales and meet targets.
- Leverage existing farmer connections in nearby villages to expand the customer base and increase sales opportunities.
- Develop a keen understanding of local agricultural practices, challenges, and concerns to tailor sales strategies effectively.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with local farmers and community leaders, enhancing brand visibility and market presence.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify and establish Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) who can bridge the gap between farmers and the company.
- Work closely with VLEs to ensure effective demand generation, query resolution, and promotion of Agri inputs, leading to increased sales.
- Employ a data-driven approach to track sales metrics, analyse trends, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Organize and participate in agricultural events, exhibitions, and farmer meetings to showcase products and gather feedback.

**What we are looking for**:

- 2+ years of proven experience in sales of agricultural inputs, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Prior experience in leading and managing a small sales team.
- Strong network and connections within local farming communities.
- Solid understanding of Agri inputs, bio/chemical Agri products, and related industry trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with farmers, VLEs, and local stakeholders.

Note: BSc or MSc in Agriculture preferred.
