We have an exciting opportunity as a Purchasing Assistant / Buyer to offer in an established company that is one of the leading global procurement service providers. We are based in India, UK and UAE.

**Please note that this role will be full time working from home role and must have their own Computer / Laptop and a fast internet.**

In return for your hard work as our Engineering Procurement Specialist, you will be offered a wide range of benefits including:

- Standard working hours are 08.00 - 5:00, Monday to Saturday. (this is flexible as its remote work with lunch break and loo break included, may be required to work on other timelines based on other geographic locations)
- This position is fully remote - home based work.
- Salary 8000 INR / Month for Freshers.

**Essential Skills**

**Who are we looking for?**

You will be a Purchasing Assistant adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, ideally gained within a private sector SME. You will be proactive with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to think on your feet and learn quickly. You will possess the ability and confidence to use your own initiative where necessary and participate in team discussions if required.

Desirable Skillset:

- Good knowledge of the Engineering/equipment/suppliers
- A buyer with broad technical understanding
- Experience with pipes, valves and fittings is a plus.
- Knowledgeable about international trade
- Ideally experience working on projects in Africa and the Middle East

**What will I be responsible for?**

As our purchasing Specialist, you will negotiate, source, and obtain materials, equipment and services, achieving competitive pricing without compromising quality whilst focusing on both major projects and new client relationships whilst also supporting existing customers.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide clients with an offer that meets their exact technical and commercial requirements and is compliant, competitive, clear, and comprehensive.
- Execute and manage supplier contracts in accordance with guidelines to optimise cost, service, quality, and capital.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on credibility/capability, commercial, technical and delivery criteria against the client.
- Consult line managers with bid-tabs, supplier/logistics quotations and other key information to determine bid finalisation.

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,500.00 per month
