**Position Overview**:
Responsible for analyzing payroll-related data within payroll systems, analyzing various payroll vendor credits and debits, and reconciling payroll information. Performs periodic internal audits of payroll databases, processes, and procedures to ensure payroll information is accurate. Also, responsible for overseeing an assigned caseload of locations/contracts, maintaining employee records, and processing payroll in the payroll database.

**Key job responsibilities: -**
- Ensure bi-weekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner, on both the odd and even pay cycles.
- Reviews computed wages on preview, and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings. Ensure that all changes to payroll are processed correctly.
- Analyses payroll-related data to ensure the integrity of the system and payroll processes.
- Process employee garnishments, wage attachments, levies, and child support orders for employees on the assigned caseload.
- Review and audit master file and pay data entries, YTD totals, and file amendments.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters.
- Reconciles manual check logs and provides metrics on manual check issues.
- Creates and maintains ad-hoc reports within the payroll system.
- Analyses credits and debits against payroll summaries and audits various payroll-related information within the payroll system.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Works closely with Human Resources and Accounting on all payroll-related issues.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Ability to always remain alert; pay close attention to details.
- Ability to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A minimum qualification of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. A master’s degree would be preferable.
- 2+, Three to five years of experience processing **US payroll** is required.
- Working knowledge of KRONOS timekeeper and ADP software preferred.
