**Description**
- As an Ophthalmologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating eye ailments, performing procedures, and addressing traumatic eye injuries.
- Your responsibilities will involve closely working with patients, understanding their medical needs, and offering appropriate treatments, including prescribing corrective lenses and performing laser surgeries when necessary.
- By working directly with patients, you will have the opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye care issues.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, ocular health, and intraocular pressure.
- Diagnose and manage various ophthalmic conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and refractive errors.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses, preferences, and clinical needs.
- Perform ophthalmic surgeries, such as cataract extraction, corneal transplantation, vitrectomy, trabeculectomy, and refractive surgery (e.g., LASIK), with precision and expertise.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including topical ophthalmic drugs, oral medications, and intraocular injections, to treat and control eye diseases and conditions.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries, including performing preoperative evaluations, providing perioperative instructions, and monitoring postoperative recovery and outcomes.
