**Job Title**: Banquet Hall Supervisor
**Job Summary**:
As a Banquet Hall Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet hall facility. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory, managing event flow, supervising kitchen operations, maintaining effective communication with clients and various service providers, and demonstrating a strong work ethic to create memorable and successful events. This role involves working long shifts, including evenings and weekends, and offers the potential for significant earnings through event bookings.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and manage banquet hall inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Coordinate with suppliers to restock inventory as needed.
2. **Event Planning and Execution**:
- Organize and oversee events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and according to plan.
- Collaborate with clients, decorators, caterers, and other stakeholders to meet event requirements.
- Manage event timelines and ensure a seamless flow of activities.
3. **Kitchen Supervision**:
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages for events.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
4. **Communication**:
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients, vendors, decorators, cleaners, and kitchen staff.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
5. **Hardworking Attitude**:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, leading by example with dedication and commitment to excellence.
- Adapt to the demands of long shifts, especially during events.
6. **Problem Solving**:
- Identify and resolve issues that may arise during events, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and make quick decisions to keep events on track.
7. **Sales and Motivation**:
- Actively promote the banquet hall to potential clients and negotiate event bookings.
- Earn commission through event bookings, with the potential to significantly increase your income.
**Working Hours**:
- Non-event days: 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Event days: 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
**Compensation**:
- Basic Salary: $15,000 per month
- 2% commission per event booking (earning potential of over $10,000 per month)
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy events.
- Motivated and proactive with strong sales skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Previous experience in event management or hospitality is a plus.
As a Banquet Hall Supervisor, you will be an integral part of creating memorable experiences for our clients and driving the success of our banquet hall. Your dedication, communication skills, and motivation will contribute to the growth and reputation of our facility.
**Salary**: From ₹14,000.00 per month
