**“Job Description - Sr. Purchase Officer”**

**Responsibilities of the job include**:
- Generate material requirement from sales order and master formula card.
- Assess net material required after deducting the available stock
- Place purchase order under guidance of Director and Senior Purchase Executive to approved suppliers depending on their price and ability to meet required delivery schedules.
- Identify new supplier as per required raw material, component.
- Evaluate Supplier as per Company procedure.
- Follow up the delivery of material as per requirement.
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Should familiar with ERP environment & Iso procedures.
- Good communication skill in English & Excel.
- Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
- Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
- Maintain ISO documentation reg. purchase.
- Preparation of Purchase order based on various sales orders & follow up.
- Make summary of item to be purchased & stocks on hand.

**Authorities of the job include**:

- To keep track on ordered quantities against received in stores.
- To follow up for pending purchase order.

**Education**: BCOM / BA / MECHANICAL ENGINEER / ANY GRADUATE

**Salary**: 45,000/- to 60,000/
- **Experience**: 8 To 12 Yrs in Purchase Department Pharma/Medical device unit desirable.
