Fashion Desgner

Position Overview:
As an On-the-Job Trainee in the field of Fashion Design, Garment Manufacturing, and Marketing, you will be involved in various aspects of the fashion industry, gaining practical experience and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals. Your role will encompass creative design, manufacturing processes, and marketing strategies, allowing you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the fashion business from concept to consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Support: Assist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings under the supervision of senior designers.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for new designs and collections.
Collaborate with the design team to develop prototypes and samples, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and target market preferences.
- Garment Manufacturing Assistance: Learn about the production process, including sourcing materials, pattern-making, cutting, sewing, and quality control.
Support the manufacturing team in monitoring production timelines, assessing product quality, and identifying areas for improvement.
Gain hands-on experience with different production techniques and technologies used in garment manufacturing.
- Marketing and Promotion: Contribute to the development of marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, promotional events, and product launches.
Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor analysis, and potential target audiences.
Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, such as catalogs, lookbooks, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and message alignment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, production managers, marketing professionals, and sales representatives, to understand the interdependencies of various departments within the fashion industry.
Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your understanding of industry practices and business operations.
Support the implementation of collaborative projects and initiatives to foster a cohesive and dynamic work environment.
- Skill Development: Actively engage in continuous learning and skill development, taking advantage of training opportunities and mentorship programs provided by the company.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques, software, and industry-specific tools to enhance your proficiency in fashion design, garment manufacturing, and marketing practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and familiarity with garment construction techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- A passion for creativity, fashion trends, and an eagerness to learn and grow within the fashion industry.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Salary**: ₹2,500.00 per month

- Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
