PATH is currently recruiting Community Counselor (CC) for Nagaland on third party payroll (Randstad).

**Responsibilities**:

- The CC will be placed at the ICTC / ARTC of the district hospital or other government facilities.
- CC will be co-located with the Counsellors of ICTC or ARTC.
- CC will coordinate closely with the ICTC / ARTC Counsellors and the SPO - Prevention of PATH. The CC will work in coordination with the Counsellors of ICTC / ARTC and focus on providing quality counselling to all positive clients based on the SoP develop by Project Sunshine II.
- The Documentation, reporting and other M&E will be as per directions and training from PATH.
- Key areas of work for the CC:

- Counselling all positive clients for Partner Notification and Index Case Testing.
- Provide HIV prevention education and counselling.
- Ensure periodic testing for partners of high-risk clients
- Provide counselling on positive prevention
- Linkage to ART of all positive partners
- Provide adherence counselling
- Offer Index Testing services to all high risk negative clients.
- CC will be responsible for ensuring all partners and networks of “high risk” clients undergo HIV counselling and testing and are linked to Targeted Intervention or other relevant services.
- Any additional responsibility assigned by the SPO - Prevention.
- Reporting_: The Community Counsellor (CC) will report to the SPO - Prevention.
