Job Title: Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

- ISO Standards Compliance: Implement and maintain ISO standards related to occupational health and safety. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to ISO requirements.
- Update and revise safety policies and procedures as per ISO standards.
- EHS Management: Develop and implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards. Monitor and analyze workplace environments to identify and control potential risks.
- OSHAS Compliance: Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHAS) regulations. Stay informed about OSHAS updates and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders. Conduct internal audits to assess OSHAS compliance.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees. Conduct regular safety meetings and drills to ensure preparedness. Provide guidance on the use of safety equipment and protocols.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses. Compile and analyze incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid future incidents.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, incidents, and training. Prepare and submit regular reports to management regarding safety performance. Ensure all safety documentation complies with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
 Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

 Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

 In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, EHS regulations, and OSHAS requirements.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to lead safety training sessions and drills.

 Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.

 Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH) is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
