**Job description**
1. Arrive for your scheduled shift, reporting for duty at least 10 minutes early.
2. Before commencing work, check in with the Yard Controller/In charge to discuss the
day’s plan with the Shift Controller.
3. Ensure that each Load man handles a minimum of eight tons.
4. All Goods Certificates (GC) must be organized in sequence prior to unloading.
5. Stock materials correctly according to designated markings (é).
6. Count all items as per the Load Receipt (LR) and mark the corresponding tick on the
LR (Cargo copy).
7. If any damages or shortages are detected, prepare a station complaint manually and in
the FMS, inform the Shift Controller, and obtain the driver’s signature. Inspect any
damaged items and take necessary measures to prevent further damage.
8. For any discrepancies (partial items, GCs, or consignments), prepare a station
complaint, inform the Shift In charge, and secure the driver’s signature.
9. Once unloading is complete, close the TLUS with appropriate signatures, and fill out
the ULS, including vehicle number, number of GCs, articles, weight unloaded, name of
the Yard In charge, number of personnel involved, stacker, and the start and end times
of unloading.
10. Affix the inward date seal on all GCs after unloading and place them in the
appropriate rack.
11. Ensure GCs are organized sequentially.
12. Adhere to the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle, prioritizing bookings by date.
13. Ensure all consignments are properly marked; if not, take the necessary steps to
mark them.
14. Stack all consignments securely to prevent damage.
15. Record any damages or shortages by preparing a station complaint both manually
and in the FMS. Load damaged items carefully to avoid further issues.
16. Hand over all loaded GCs to the FMS staff, ensuring they are counted and verified
by both Load/Delivery staff and FMS staff for dispatch sheet preparation.
**Working Days: Monday to Saturday**
**Working Hours: 8.5 hours (Rotational Shift)**
**Qualification: Any graduate**
**Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Bangalore, Mumbai**
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
