Server Room Incharge

**Job Summary**:
As a Server Room Incharge with IT knowledge, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining all computer systems within our premises, including the server room. With a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will ensure the efficient and secure operation of all IT equipment and systems. Your role will involve monitoring server room equipment, performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring data security.

Key Responsibilities:
**Server Room Management**:Monitor and maintain the server room to ensure optimal performance and security.
Keep server racks organized and cables neatly managed.
Perform regular equipment inspections to identify and address issues proactively.

**Hardware and Software Maintenance**:Conduct routine maintenance on servers, switches, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, and upgrade server hardware and software as needed.
Ensure all computers and devices are up to date with the latest patches and security updates.

**Troubleshooting and Technical Support**:Respond to IT-related issues and provide technical support to employees.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and resolve them promptly.
Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

**Data Security**:Implement and maintain security measures to protect data stored in the server room.
Monitor server room access and ensure only authorized personnel enter.
Develop and enforce data backup and recovery procedures.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain detailed records of server room activities, maintenance, and equipment inventory.
Generate regular reports on server room performance and security.

**Equipment Procurement and Inventory Management**:Assist in the procurement of IT equipment, ensuring compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
Keep track of IT inventory, order replacements or upgrades as necessary.

**Compliance and Best Practices**:Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
Ensure that the server room adheres to relevant regulations and standards.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
