We are about addressing poverty by building capability - **so youth can live the life they have a reason to value**. Over the last decade we have touched lives of 2,00,000 youth all 18-25-year-old with little or no schooling - from rural communities, the poorest of families, the most marginalized communities, and mostly girls (67%). **About the Role & Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing strategies in accordance with the program goals.
- Building relationship with the local institutions to deliver the program.
- Orient the students about the program and counsel them on career guidance and its essential requirements
- Delivery of the **Career Guidance & Counselling, Employability Skills and 21stCentury Skills, STEM (Science, Technology, English, Mathematics)** content and curriculum along with assessments and reports.
- Responsibilities include assessing strengths, skills, and aspirations to help define clear career goals; offering guidance on career paths and skill development.
- Aiding in resume and cover letter writing; conducting mock interviews; and facilitating networking strategies.
- Foster self-awareness, helping students make informed decisions, while also addressing work-related challenges and transitions.
- Through ongoing communication, a career coach empowers students to navigate the job market effectively, enhance job satisfaction, and achieve their career aspirations.
- Career Coach will directly work with 4-5 colleges at the district level to provide career coaching and support to the college nodal officer, faculty to ensure systematic roll out of career guidance and counselling and psychometric assessment for students/ youth.
- Further, the Career Coach will ensure continued support and facilitation for implementation and monitoring of progress.

**Preferred Skills & Qualification**:

- Advanced university degree in **education/science & technology/mathematics **with at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of technical aspects of similar programs and areas of intervention
- Good communication and advocacy skills: Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, and to express ideas and concepts concisely and clearly in written and oral form;
- Basic **digital skills including MS Office**, G-Suite, E-learning etc
- Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.

**The outcomes for the career coaches are as below**:

- Up-to-date awareness of current job market trends, industry requirements, and career paths enables relevant and informed coaching related to STEM.
- **Proficiency in coaching techniques**, such as goal setting, motivational strategies, and skill assessment.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Building trust, maintaining confidentiality, and fostering strong relationships with clients create a supportive environment for meaningful career development.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
