Heavy Fabrication Fitter

**job Description**:
To perform Metal Fabrication Fit-up from the segmented sheet metal profiles to make structures as per the drawings

& proficient in inspecting the structures build with less or no supervision.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Study & review of engineering drawings for Metal fabrication.
- Layout marking on work table for fabrication fit-up, marking on components for building metal structures.
- Should perform all the process of Fit-up including Oxy fuel cutting, Grinding with angle grinder & pencil grinder.
- Self-inspection of components produced.
- Offering to QC for inspection of the component produced
- Use of proper tools & instruments to produce right quality product.
- Safe handling of components either manually or by material handling equipment’s like Crane. Continuous Improvements through Kaizens.
- Perform other related duties as assigned whenever required.
- Maintain Clean & tidy work station.

**Knowledge, Skills & abilities.**
- Good Drawing interpretation knowledge especially Metal Fabrication drawings.
- Hands on welding experience for tack welding.
- Hands on experience of Oxy fuel cutting.
- Hands on experience of Grinding with Angle grinders & Pencil grinders.
- Hands on experience of Crane handling
- Good knowledge on usage of basic tools for Fabrication.
- Good knowledge on levelling (Water levelling, spirit level etc.) & measurement of components.
- Able to perform the task independently & to train freshers.
- Knowledge on Press brake & Rolling machine operation is an added advantage

**Education & Experience.**

ITI Fitter with 3 to 5 years of experience in Metal Fabrication industry as fitter, preference will be given for

those who have worked in Fan manufacturing industries.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
