**Job Title**: Photo Editor & Video Editor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Photo Editing**:

- Edit and retouch photos to enhance color, lighting, and composition.
- Remove backgrounds, blemishes, or imperfections as required.
- Adjust image contrast, sharpness, exposure, and saturation for optimal visual appeal.
- Ensure photos align with the branding guidelines and specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with photographers and designers to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Manage photo assets, organize image libraries, and ensure proper storage of digital files.
- **Video Editing**:

- Edit video footage to create polished, engaging content for various platforms (e.g., social media, websites, advertisements, promotional materials).
- Select and arrange footage, sound effects, voiceovers, and music to tell a compelling story.
- Add transitions, visual effects, and graphics to enhance video production quality.
- Ensure smooth video pacing, clarity of audio, and seamless transitions between scenes.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to ensure the video meets the intended vision and objectives.
- Optimize video formats and sizes for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with the creative team to understand the project requirements and contribute creative ideas.
- Communicate feedback and revisions to improve both photo and video content.
- Participate in meetings to discuss project timelines, expectations, and deliverables.
- Keep track of all deadlines and ensure projects are completed within the required time frame.
- **Technical Proficiency**:

- Utilize editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to edit images and videos effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in photo and video editing.
- Troubleshoot software and technical issues as they arise.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all photo and video content meets the company's quality standards.
- Perform final checks for visual consistency, color grading, and audio syncing.
- Review work before submission for errors or inconsistencies.
- **Asset Management**:

- Organize and maintain an efficient archive of digital assets, including photos, videos, and project files.
- Label, tag, and categorize files for easy retrieval.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Photo Editor & Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, etc.) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Strong understanding of color correction, compositing, visual effects, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work with different formats and codecs for video output.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and excellent visual storytelling abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of current trends in photography, videography, and editing styles.

**Education & Experience**:

- A degree in Photography, Film Production, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a creative editing role (portfolio required).

**Work Environment**:

- This role can be performed in an office setting or remotely, depending on the employer’s needs.
- May require flexible hours or occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
