**Responsibilities**:
a) Assign and manage the duties of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and timely completion of all tasks. Post and rotate staff schedules, ensuring coverage at all times.
b) Conduct daily briefings with all housekeeping and safety staff to ensure awareness of priorities and health & safety protocols.
c) Ensure the effective implementation of the factory’s Housekeeping & Hygiene Policy across all areas & adherence to all relevant housekeeping documentation and compliance with hygiene standards.
d) Supervise and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces.
e) Conduct daily inspections of the factory premises to observe housekeeping standards, cleanliness, and identify any areas requiring attention. Report and follow up on any maintenance or repair needs identified during inspections.
f) Monitor and manage housekeeping inventory, including cleaning supplies and chemicals. Ensure timely ordering of supplies to maintain sufficient stock levels for day-to-day operations.
g) Conduct regular training sessions on the safe usage of cleaning chemicals and proper housekeeping techniques. Ensure all staff are trained in workplace safety and hygiene procedures.
h) Oversee the proper maintenance of the sanitary system to ensure hygienic standards are met. Ensure the refinery's drainage system is cleaned and maintained regularly, ensuring proper functioning and hygiene.
i) Provide timely reports to senior management or relevant authorities about any housekeeping, maintenance, or hygiene-related issues. Coordinate with maintenance teams for necessary repairs and improvements to rooms, facilities, or public areas.
j) Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) and management, adapting to changing business needs.
**Highest Qualification**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus
**Experience** Proven experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role, ideally within an industrial or refinery setting.
**Key Skills**:
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to effectively train staff on housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different departments.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use.
- Proficient in managing inventories and ordering supplies.
