Key responsibilities:

- An Tableau Admin plays a vital role in ensuring that Alteryx is effectively utilized within an organization, enabling data analysts and data scientists to create, share, and deploy data workflows efficiently and securely.
- Contribute to and support the automation of multiple parts of infrastructure and deployment systems, strive to improve, and shorten processes to enable engineering and operations teams to work smarter and faster.
- Collaborate with related Product/Account Development teams to drive automation of Configuration Management, Build, Release, Deployment and Monitoring processes, including instruction for the team on the developed tools.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software (Desktop Pro, Server, Interactor), with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture and administration.
- Experience as Tableau administrator, developing in, configuring and administering Tableau Server.
- 2-5 years of experience in BI role working specifically with Business Community producing analytical reports/dashboards, predictive analytics, ROI calculations demonstrating value of BI
- Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations
- Strong Knowledge in BI tools including ETL, Data Warehousing, other BI tools.
- Experience in Tableau scripting (TABCMD and TABADMIN).
- Ability to architect a stable Tableau solution guaranteed for high operational availability.
- Experience working with Relational Databases (SQL Server - required, Oracle).
- Expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning & disaster recovery.
- Good knowledge of Tableau Metadata tables.

Technical Skills:
1. At least 2 years of experience as a Tableau Admin
2. Hands on experience in build, release, deployment and monitoring of cloud-based scalable distributed systems.
3. Working experience in Cluster/Hybrid production-like environment creation including TLS, Load Balancing & High availability setup implementation knowledge
4. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for complex systems: configuration management and/or automation tools, and/or continuous-integration tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Nexus, GIT, Maven etc.)
5. Configure and maintain Tableau Server Software Layer
6. System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance/Upgrades/patches).
7. Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches.
8. Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements.
9. Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing).
10. Create/Manage Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections.
11. Manage and support migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards), from development to production environments.
12. Provide appropriate training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports, and Tableau Desktop.
13. Partner with business to design tableau KPI scorecards & dashboards.
14. Assist in the identification and migration of data sources to Tableau server.
15. Assist in development of workbooks and dashboards to support business initiatives.
16. Develop and document standards/best practices for development and administration of the Tableau platform.
18. Familiarity with container runtime and orchestration platforms, preferably Docker and Kubernetes.
19. Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL databases
20. Familiarity with networking and security
21. Strategic thinker and capable of learning new technologies quickly.
22. Very good interface management with peers and managers.
23. Ability to work under high pressure.
24. Excellent English, ability to communicate fluently with peers abroad.

Good to have:
1. Experience in working as Alteryx Admin
2. Proven experience with Public Cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) and CloudFormation/Terraforms, fluent with Cloud compute, storage and networking concepts and cloud technologies.
