**Key Responsibilities**:
- **IT Infrastructure Management**:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure, implementing and managing firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and other security measures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- **Technical Support**:
- Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage help desk operations, responding to and resolving support tickets in a timely manner.
- Conduct training sessions for staff to improve their understanding of IT systems and software.
- **Network and System Administration**:
- Administer and maintain company networks, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
- Perform regular backups and recovery processes to safeguard company data.
- Ensure all IT systems are up-to-date with the latest software patches and updates.
- **Project Management**:
- Lead IT projects from planning through to execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve company operations and efficiency.
- **Vendor and Asset Management**:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal service and support.
- Oversee the procurement, inventory, and maintenance of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on IT operations, system performance, and security status.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and integrity.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management, system administration, or a similar role.
- Experience with IT security practices and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, Linux, and network management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) is a plus.
