**Job Purpose**: Civil Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and construction of civil and structural engineering projects. This includes roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, buildings, and other infrastructure.

Planning and Scheduling**
- Responsible for Project Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Control
- Preparing Construction Programs, Progress Monitoring Control Sheets, Micro Planning, Budgeting, Base Line Schedules L1, L2, and L3, S-Curves and Progress Reports.
- Preparation of look-ahead schedules; activities forecast schedule, & pass on information to respective departments for timely availability of resources in site.
- Assisting Team in preparing presentations for Review Meetings
- Co-ordination with engineering team for timely submission of drawings for obtaining GFC drawings (good for construction).

Execution of Civil Constructions in the project site**
- Carefully evaluating design documents, identifying and addressing design issues in the earlier stages.
- Conduct site investigations and analyze data
- Preparation of cost estimates and budgets
- Inspecting construction sites and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Managing a team of engineers and contractors
- Liaise with various stakeholders in the project execution
- Staying up-to-date on the latest engineering technologies
- Should know statutory aspects related to civil constructions and ensure compliance and approvals
- Should have strong project acumen and ensure quality of construction is of high standards and all planned timelines are met.

- Ensure safe design and safe execution of all civil structures.
- Assist team and safety manager to implement preventive safety management and monitoring system to prevent incidents, occupational diseases and ensure safe work environment.
- Audit/ review implementation of site safety plan, site logistics plan and contractual requirements.
- Ensure adequate safety infrastructure are established and maintain in best and ready to use condition
