About the role
- Type - Full Time (Remote)_

Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tools, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, identify test scenarios, and define acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and scalability of software products.
- Identify and report software defects, track them to resolution, and verify fixes.
- Continuously improve test methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports and test metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper testability and test coverage during the development process.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Owning the quality of any deliverables including new features and enhancements.
- Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvements.

Your Core Skills
- You place quality over any other virtue.
- Proven experience as an SDET or a similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Typescript or Python.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, Cypress or any other framework).
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications (optional but desirable).

Additional Skills
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS or a CRM product or in a complex web based software product with multiple product areas utilizing multiple services and technologies
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
