Autocad Designer

**Job Position : AutoCAD - Designer**

**Job Location : Tuticorin**

**Salary : 20k - 25k**

**Experience: 2-3 Years**

Key Responsibilities:

- **Create Detailed Drawings**: Produce accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software for residential, commercial, and industrial building projects.
- **Collaborate with Team**: Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction managers to understand project requirements and incorporate their input into designs.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards.
- **Update and Revise Plans**: Modify and update existing drawings as necessary to reflect changes in project scope, materials, or construction methods.
- **Site Surveys**: Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for accurate drawings and to ensure designs can be implemented as intended.
- **Material Specifications**: Specify materials, dimensions, and procedures for construction in the drawings.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, revisions, and project milestones.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase to address any issues related to design implementation.
- **Quality Control**: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications before submission.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as an Auto CAD Designer, preferably in the construction or building industry.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software. Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify and resolve design-related issues promptly.
- **Time Management**: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- **Knowledge of Building Codes**: Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

Working Conditions:

- **Environment**: Office-based with occasional site visits.
- **Hours**: Full-time position, with potential for overtime during peak project phases.
