**Job Title**: Kannada and Hindi Lecturer at Harsha Institute of Management Studies, Bengaluru.

**Qualification & Experience**: MA (Kannada & Hindi) with teaching experience of 3 to 5 years in handling Kannada & Hindi classes for undergraduate students in a College.

**Responsibilities**:
**Course Planning**: Develop and design curriculum and lesson plans for Hindi and Kannada language courses based on the level of instruction and specific learning outcomes.

**Classroom Instruction**: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, discussions, and presentations to students, utilizing various teaching methodologies to facilitate language learning.

**Language Proficiency Assessment**: Evaluate students' language proficiency through assignments, exams, and other assessments. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their language skills.

**Material Preparation**: Prepare teaching materials, such as handouts, worksheets, audiovisual aids, and other resources, to support the learning process and enhance students' comprehension.

**Individualized Instruction**: Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students who require additional help or have specific learning needs, tailoring teaching strategies to address their individual requirements.

**Classroom Management**: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring discipline and order while promoting active participation and respect among students.

**Student Progress Monitoring**: Regularly monitor and track students' progress, maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant data, and provide timely feedback to students and their guardians on their academic performance.

**Academic Advising**: Offer guidance and advice to students regarding their academic and career goals, including course selection, language proficiency exams, and further study opportunities in Hindi and Kannada.

**Professional Development**: Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, language acquisition theories, and advancements in Hindi and Kannada linguistics. Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues, department members, and language teaching professionals to exchange ideas, share resources, and contribute to the overall development of the Hindi and Kannada language programs.

**Cultural Awareness**: Promote cultural awareness and appreciation by integrating cultural elements and traditions of Hindi and Kannada-speaking regions into the language instruction, fostering a deeper understanding of the languages' cultural contexts.

**Committee Participation**: Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other institutional activities as required, contributing to program planning, assessment, and policy development.

**Salary**: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
