A Preprimary Teacher is responsible for providing education and care to young children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Here are some of the typical roles and responsibilities of a Preprimary Teacher:

- Planning and delivering age-appropriate curriculum: The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering instruction that is appropriate for the children's developmental level and aligns with the school's goals and objectives.
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment: The teacher is responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for the children, including maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and promoting positive behavior.
- Differentiated instruction: The teacher is responsible for using a variety of teaching methods and strategies to cater to the different learning styles of the children and to engage them in the learning process.
- Assessing and reporting on student progress: The teacher is responsible for assessing the children's progress, providing feedback to parents and other staff members, and maintaining accurate records of the children's progress.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff: The teacher is responsible for working closely with other teachers and staff to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the school's goals and objectives.
- Professional development: The teacher is responsible for attending professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- Safety and Supervision: The teacher is responsible for ensuring the safety of the children at all times, including during playtime, field trips and other activities.
- Communicating with Parents: The teacher is responsible for communicating with parents and guardians about the children's progress and any concerns.
- Classroom management: The teacher is responsible for managing the classroom to ensure that the environment is conducive to learning and that the children have the resources they need to be successful.
- Compliance: The teacher is responsible for ensuring that the instruction and care provided to the children are in compliance with the school's policies and procedures and local laws and regulations.
