Name of the Role: Furniture Designer
A multifaceted role, involving various tasks that span from the initial concept to the final product, client interactions, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY & DELIVERABLES
1) Design Concepts and development
2) Responsibility for product checking and quality control
3) Sales support
4) Communication with external designers and suppliers
TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:
1) Design Concepts And Development
a) Ideation and Brainstorming: Generate ideas for new furniture pieces, considering both aesthetic and functional aspects.
b) Research: Study market trends, customer preferences, materials, and new technologies in furniture design.
c) Sketching and Drawing: Create initial sketches and detailed drawings and 3Ds, either by hand or using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
d) Prototyping: Work with craftsmen or manufacturers to develop prototypes, making adjustments as needed to improve design and functionality
2) Responsibility For Product Checking And Quality Control
a) Product Checking: Making sure the products are being made as per technical drawings and site measurements, material finishes as decided.
b) Quality Control: Checking each and every product and making sure it is in perfect condition before dispatch
c) Conveying any issues to the supervisor and make sure it is corrected before dispatch.
3) Sales Support
a) Presentation and Marketing: Assist in creating marketing materials and presentations to showcase the designs to potential buyers.
b) Sales Support: Provide technical information and support to the clients and following up for potential orders.
4) Communication with external designers and suppliers
a) Following up with external vendors for delivery dates, product accuracy, etc.
b) Looking for vendors and suppliers who align with the quality that we aim provide to expand our production sources.
SKILLS:
Software Skills: AutoCad, 3-DS Max, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Traits:Is keen to take on responsibility and is extremely execution focused. Someone who is highly organised, self-motivated and attentive to detail
Good Communication: Is able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English in a friendly and professional manner
Responsibility: Is willing to take responsibilities outside of their defined role and have a flexible schedule
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
Supplemental pay types:

**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
