**Position Description**:
OCI Architect Position

We are looking for a Cloud Architect in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) realm. This person will work together with other teams in the IT department, including System Administrators, Software Developers, Network Security, Database Administrators and will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting the Oracle Cloud services required in the company, together with other suppliers and the manufacturer itself.

General responsibilities will be:

- To participate in the design and implementation of all solutions hosted in OCI both IaaS and PaaS or SaaS Services.
- To collaborate in the definition of network management, user security permissions, IAM and OCI Compartments, etc.
- Responsible for monitoring access to services, availability, performance and usage
- To participate in configuration, management and monitorization of security of the OCI environment.

**Requirements**:

- Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems degrees are recommended
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing/designing OCI or similar cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
- Knowledge of OCI service monitoring tools and review of credit consumption
- Configuration and management of OCI Compartments and Provisioning of services through several Availability Domains.
- Knowledge of OCI CLI (Command Line Interface)
- Knowledge of infrastructure deployment automation tools: Terraform, Ansible
- Knowledge of communications components and their provisioning in OCI: Network Security Groups, Bastion Host, Load Balancers, FastConnect, etc.
- Configuration of OCI components: Oracle Cloud Backup Service, Object Storage, etc. and their connection to local deployments
- Experience using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
- Linux server administration expertise
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Knowledge of best practices applied to the development lifecycle: Dev, Test, Pre, Pro
- Verbal and written communication
- Teamwork experience
- High motivation. Focus on work and solution of complex problems
- Detail-oriented and passionate about working with quality

- Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist
- Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional
- Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate
- Certified Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist
